In game one of double header Friday derry lost to east Allegheny 5-2.

A double by Michael Cahill put East Allegheny on the board in the top of the third.

Cahill earned the win for EA. He surrendered three hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out nine and walking two. Nate papuga took the loss for the Trojans. The righty went seven innings, surrendering five runs on 11 hits, striking out three and walking three.

Roman fridley, Collin Barkley, John Wasnick, Colon Bush, and Anthony Sacco each collected one hit. Derry surrendered three errors on the game.

East Allegheny accumulated 8 hits on the game. Cahill led with two hits. Joe Connors led with 4 rbis. Traynor Janosko collected two hits in three at bats.
