The Derry Trojans trailed by as many as five, but came back to top east Allegheny on Friday 10-8.

John wasnick collected three hits in three at bats in the win. Wasnick singled in the seventh inning, doubled in the third, and singled in the fourth.

 The Trojans got on the board in the top of the third inning after Brady angus singled, Colin bush hit into a fielders choice, and Max Doherty singles, each scoring one run.

 East Allegheny tied the game in the bottom of the third thanks to a single by joe Connor’s, a walk by Traynor janosko, and a single by Ryan Rupert.

East Allegheny captured the lead, 8-3, in the bottom of the fifth after Rupert walked, Cody tvrdovsky grounded out, and Ryan Clark singled, Tommy Kearns, walked and Michael Cahill walked each scoring one run.

 Derry flipped the game on its head in the top of the seventh, scoring six runs on six hits to take a 10-8 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by wasnick that drove in two.

 Doherty earned the win for Derry. The right handed pitched surrendered zero hits and zero runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking two. Learns took the loss for East Allegheny. The reliever went one and one-thirds innings, allowing five runs on five hits, striking out one and walking two. Chad jones stepped on the hill first for Derry. He gave up two hits and two runs over two and one-third innings, striking out two and walking one. Chance odoski les things off on the mound for EA. He gave up five hits and three runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking one. Roman fridley and Cason long each appeared in relief for Derry. 
 Derry amassed 16 hits in the game. Wasnick and Mason Fridley each collected three hits. Long led Derry with four runs batted in. The right handed hitter went 2 for 4 on the game. Bush, Doherty, and Anthony Sacco each collected multiple hits for the Trojans.

 Rupee provided pop in the middle of the line up, and led East Allegheny with two runs batted in. He went 1 for 2 on the day. Cahill, Connors, Rupert, Kirk, and Stevie Yusko each collected one hit. East Allegheny had patience at the plate, amassing 11 walks for the game. Cahill, Janosko, and Kearns led the team with three walks.

 Next up for Derry is a game at Burrel on Monday.
