The Derry Trojans couldn’t keep up with Burrell and fell 8-2 on Monday.

 Burrell got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after R. Was grounded out, and Mclefferty singled, each scoring one run.

 Hasson earned the win for Burrell the starting pitcher gave up five hits and two runs over six innings, striking out six and walking none.. Chad Jones took the loss for Derry . The right handed pitcher went three innings surrendering two runs on six hits, striking out two and walking one.

 Roman Fridley led Derry with one run batted in the three hole hitter went 243 on the day Fridley and Anthony Sacco each collected two hits for the Derry Trojans.

 Trey Coury and mclefferty each collected two hits for Burrell, Adam, Wass, McLafferty, and Wass each drove in one run for Burrell. Mckallip stole two bases Burrell had a strong eye at the plate collecting six walks for the game. Burl stole seven bases in the game. Burl was shorthanded in the field and didn’t commit a single air. McKay had the most chances in the field with six.

 Next up for the dairy Trojans is a game against Burrell on Tuesday.
