The Derry Trojans fell 4-2 to the Valley Vikings on Monday despite outhitting them 7 to 3. Roman fridley led the Trojans with two hits.

 Schrock was the winning pitcher for valley surrendering 6 hits and two runs over 5 and 2/3 innings, striking out two and walking four. Cason long took the loss for the Trojans going two and 1/3 innings allowing one run (zero earned) on zero hits, striking out none and walking two. Max Doherty started the game for the Trojans, surrendering three hits and three runs (two earned) over 3 and 2/3 innings striking out three and walking four.

 Fridley and Anthony Sacco led Derry with one rbi each.

 Derry returns to action Wednesday at home versus valley.
