Greensburg Salem kept adding on runs in an 8-0 victory over Derry Varsity Trojans on Tuesday.

Greensburg Salem got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Derry committed an error, and Braedon Leatherman grounded out, each scoring one run.

Greensburg Salem added one run in the third after Brody Chismar hit a sacrifice fly.

Leatherman earned the win for Greensburg Salem. The starter surrendered four hits and zero runs over five and one-third innings, striking out five and walking one. Max Doherty took the loss for the Trojans. The righty went three and one-third innings, giving up five runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out four and walking three.

Collin Barkley, Mason Fridley, Donovan Trimble, John Wasnick, and Doherty each collected one hit for Derry Trojans.

Chismar provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Greensburg Salem with two runs batted in. The right fielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Leadoff hitter Dom Rosensteel led Greensburg Salem with two hits in three at bats.
