Greensburg Salem came out firing on all cylinders to build a 16 point lead before the Trojans clawed back to cut the deficit to 10 at the half. Derry Area posted 44 second half points en route to a 67-63 Section win.
John Wasnick led all scorers with 24 points. Brayden Robinson scored 18 and Stan Rajkovich posted 17 points to go along with 11 rebounds.
Solomon Cain & Ty Harkcom led the Golden Lions with 16 and Tyler Martin netted 14.
The Trojans return home Friday night hosting Belle Vernon.
