Derry Area led Elizabeth Forward by 9 in the first half and held a five point lead at halftime 31-26. Elizabeth Forward cut the lead to one at the end of third with the Trojans leading 38-37.
The Warriors outscored the Trojans 20-14 in the fourth quarter to post a 57-52 win at Elizabeth Forward.
Both teams, along with Belle Vernon, are tied at the top of the Section with 5-1 records.
Stanley Rajkovich led all scorers with 26 points to go along with 10 rebounds. John Wasnick chipped in 11 and Brayden Robinson 7 along with 10 rebounds.
Tyler Basic led Elizabeth Forward with 25 points. Cy Heschelroath and James Gile both scored 10.
