Derry Trojans took Monday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 2-1 walk-off victory over Greensburg Salem. The game was tied at one in the bottom of the seventh when Francesca DePalma tripled, 2 intentional walks issued to Doherty and Myers then Bailey Legge singled, scoring DePalma.  

The pitching was strong on both sides. Derry Trojans 2025 Playoffs pitchers struck out 11, while Greensburg Salem sat down nine.

A tag up by Francesca DePalma put Derry on the board in the bottom of the third. 

Derry Trojans 2025 Playoffs committed an error, which helped Greensburg Salem tie the game at one in the top of the fifth.

Haylee Myers earned the win for Derry.  The right-handed pitcher allowed six hits and one run (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking none. Alle Scarpa took the loss for Greensburg Salem. The starter went six and two-thirds innings, surrendering two runs on nine hits, striking out nine and walking three.

Callie Krause, Legge, and DePalma each collected two hits for Derry Trojans. Sophia Doherty and Legge each drove in one run for Derry.
