Derry Area delivered a well-rounded team performance at the 2025 WCCA Track and Field Championships. Sophia Mazzoni led the way with a historic throw of 153 feet in the javelin, setting a new WCCA meet record. On the track, Jane Huss placed 4th in the 800m, and the girls’ 4x400m relay of Emily Laughlin, Melody Marsh, Julia Omlor, and Huss took 5th. In the field, Regan Repak and Molly Ray each earned top-10 finishes in the high and triple jumps, respectively.
